round 4 has commenced! it’s a break from the animal contestants, making fan art for awhile.

our judges finally weighed in on all of the contestants efforts so far. does this mean the contest will resume with round 4? who knows!?

the contest is not over, just on hold while other produce on the farm is being harvested. while you wait for round 4, please check out all of the blobs! also the sidebar has a few new features including email subscription and rss feeds, because apparently there is a few people following the hijinx here.

round 3 has begun and as the rumours inferred, it is all about action! this is not a body language round, but rather the positions the body takes when doing certain actions. this is not about trying to convery emotion or acting, but communicating the action through a single pose. there are several contestants who are still in either round 1 or 2 who might be given the chance to catch up when their turn comes up at the judges’ discretion. audience members are welcome to vote in the main page poll on who should be the next contestants! the contest management is going to attempt stricter security at the door to prevent further admission by literary and fantastical creatures that have no place in an anthropomorphic contest such as this.

round 2 if formally over, but before we unveil round 3 requirements there will be about a week of late auditions done in batches of 3. why 3? because that’s how the contest started with waves of 3. there is quite a lineup of hopeful contestants, well over 20 and we will try to get to them all as the contest progresses

the contest has gone daily! to get through the huge volume of contestants and events, we’ve amped the process to the next level. check back often!

we’re at the end of a 2 week session of callbacks, mostly arthropods. very trying period but the results are unexpectedly positive! many of the judges’ concerns have been addressed and expressions will resume with Beaver.

Round 2 is in full swing!this is the expression round and all successful candidates from Round 1 pose tryout are welcome to participate. any Round 1 callbacks can attempt a new pose tryout when their number comes up, and then wait till the end of Round 2 before they can do any expressions.They might have to wait for any tardy contestants to do poses or until the beginning of Round 3 ( projected to be action poses ), but if successful we’ll make every attempt to bring them up to speed.
